Radiolab (fun Podcast about Science produced by WNYC)
Discovery Atlas: Uncovering Earth  (great series produced by the Discovery Channel; available on Netflix)
Jiro Dreams of Sushi (beautiful documentary that addresses, among other things, overfishing; available on Netflix)
Slippery when wet (a classic surf film; the first film by Bruce Brown who later made Endless Summer 1 and 2) 
The end of the line (documentary film about overfishing)
The age of stupid (documentary film about global climate change)
Darwin's Nightmare (poignant documentary film about an invasive fish- the Nile Perch- in Tanzania, and the dramatic environmental and social issues  associated with it; watch it here)
